Fly-in Kenya safari planning for travellers who want to reduce long road transfers and connect major wildlife regions by scheduled or charter aircraft.
Flying Safaris replace selected long road transfers with scheduled or charter flights, allowing more of the trip to be spent in wildlife areas. They are especially useful when combining distant regions or when a shorter holiday needs to cover more than one ecosystem.
Popular fly-in regions can include the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve and Amboseli National Park. A flying safari can also connect a wildlife itinerary with the coast around Diani, subject to the flight network and final travel dates.
A complete flying safari must state the departure airport, destination airstrip, flight basis, baggage conditions and the road transfer between the airstrip and accommodation. Game drives at the destination may be operated by the lodge or by a separately arranged private vehicle depending on the package.
None of Euclea’s current published packages is a genuine fly-in product yet, so we have intentionally not attached road safaris to this page. Use Plan My Safari for a tailored flying route, and published fly-in packages will appear here automatically once added.
Flight schedules, baggage allowances, aircraft type and airstrip transfers vary by route and operator. These details must be confirmed before payment. Current road-safari packages are not automatically presented as flying safaris.
