About Borana Conservancy

Borana Conservancy safari guide

Borana Conservancy lies on the northern slopes of Mount Kenya within the Laikipia conservation landscape. In 2013, black rhinos were reintroduced to Borana and the fence with neighbouring Lewa Wildlife Conservancy was removed, creating one continuous Lewa–Borana wildlife landscape.

Safari and conservation experiences

Borana combines rhino conservation, expansive views, low-density game viewing and active safari possibilities. Depending on the confirmed lodge and programme, visitors can enjoy game drives, guided bush walks and conservation-focused activities.

How to include Borana

Borana is included in Euclea’s 6 Day Laikipia Conservancies Safari between Lewa and Ol Pejeta. It also combines naturally with Loisaba Conservancy and Nanyuki.

Official information
