SAFARI AT A GLANCE
Begin your Kenya safari adventure in Nairobi and journey north to the Samburu National Reserve, located along the Ewaso Ngiro River and neighboring Buffalo Springs National Reserve. Covering 165 km², the reserve’s riverine forests and doum palm groves provide life-sustaining water for its wildlife. Samburu is famous for its conservation history, including being one of the areas where George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the lioness, and for Kamunyak, a lioness who adopted six orphaned oryx calves. Continue to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to both black and southern white rhinos, the only two remaining northern white rhinos, and rescued chimpanzees, offering an unforgettable wildlife and conservation experience.
Your journey then takes you to Lake Naivasha, a scenic freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley, renowned for its birdlife, serene waters, and surrounding flower farms. Finally, the safari reaches the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, part of the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, where vast plains, rolling hills, and iconic savannah landscapes host the Big Five and countless other species. From the unique wildlife of Samburu to the pristine waters of Naivasha and the legendary plains of the Maasai Mara, this safari offers an unmatched combination of adventure, culture, and natural beauty.
